Captain Steve has lived and worked in Maui since 1984. In his 26 years of expertise, he has logged over 6,000 fishing charters in Maui! Captain Steve Lambert currently holds multiple RECORD in Lahaina Harbor. He has caught the most Marlin (12) in one day. For four straight years in a row now, Captain Steve has caught Lahaina Harbors largest yellow fin tunas, weighing over 200 lbs each. Steve is also the only Captain fishing out of Lahaina to have currently boated all species of billfish that could have possibly migrated to the Hawaiian Islands. These include Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Swordfish, Stripe Marlin, Sailfish and Spearfish. Black Marlin are very rare in the Hawaiian Islands, yet Captain Steve boated one off Maui weighing in at 590 lbs. He is also the only Captain to weigh in a swordfish in Lahaina Harbor. Captain Steve truly enjoys his job, and also specializes in hooking Mahi Mahi , Ono and Ahi on stand up gear with live bait at the offshore fads. On one trip captain Steve caught an amazing 68 MahiMahi weighing over 1,100 lbs.
